French fashion style doll.

Finally finished. Completely wooden articulated doll in the style of the well-known French fashion dolls of the mid-19th century., with two sets of clothes (a ball gown made of natural antique silk and gauze, and a wool suit for traveling + a velvet cape and hat), two pairs of shoes (boots and slippers), two mohair wigs, a set of cotton underwear, the huret-style sac de voyage and a redicule, and also earrings and necklaces. 100% handmade. Delicately aged, 10" height. She's going home ❤

 

The doll for charity.

For the "Dolls by the old portraits" project. Doll is made after the "Girl's portrait", by 

Valeriano Domínguez Bécquer. She's 20 inches. Made from polymer clay "LaDoll" (movable head, shoulder plate, hands and legs) , painted with oil and acrylic paints, the body made of cotton and  jointed. Hair is from natural mohair. Comes with beautiful removable clothes of the Civil war era. Sold.
