Queen Anne style wooden boy

I'd love you to see this remarkable man, who was made by me as a matching couple of one beautiful little wooden lady.... He is 10 inch tall, and has a big nice garment kit. He is on his way to the US where his beloved one is living, the pics of him is all that left for me in remembrance, so....

Recently I was working on my commissioned 10 inch doll and now she's on her way to her new home, I am hoping she will be loved, taking into account that she was made in a very interesting circumstances and for a very unusual person. She is 10 inches, jointed in hips and knees.

This little sweetheart was made for my colleague and friend. So much happiness and proudness but the same time so many worries about making a commissioned doll for another doll-maker..... I was so excited making this little lady. She appears to be a very noble and sophisticated person.

She is made of wood, hand-carved. Her eyes are from glass and handmade for a special order. Her hips are jointed and articulated. Painted with oil & acrylic paints. Finish cover is wax. 

The hair is made of real human hair. It has been washed & arranged.  She 10 in. tall, she wears green-blue Rococo style silk gown with a beautiful underskirt , the corset, decorated with ribbons. Also she has cotton underwear, tiny shoes and cotton lace bonnet. All of her other clothes and shoes are removable. All the closes are 100 handmade.

Новая кукла. Полностью деревянная. Покрыта левкасом и воском. Расписана акрилом и маслом. Волосы настоящие, глазки стеклянные, сделаны на заказ, одежда и аксессуары съемные.
This is my new type of the dolls. She is completely wooden one, and looks very close to the original early English wooden dolls. Hand carved from basswood, painted with oil and acrylic paints, finish cover is wax.
